Bayer issued a recall for almost 800,000 models of Afrin nasal spray bottles after the packaging was discovered to not be youngster resistant on Thursday.
The U.S. Client Product Security Fee (CPSC) introduced the recall Thursday, saying any clients who bought the product are entitled to a refund. The recall impacts 786,100 models of the 6ml journey sixe Afrin nasal spray.
“This recall entails unexpired Journey Measurement Afrin® Unique Nasal Spray 6 mL bottles, with Lot numbers 230361, 240822, 241198, 250066, 250152, 250646, and 250831. These journey measurement bottles have ‘Afrin® Unique Nasal Spray’ and ‘1/5 FL OZ (6 mL)’ printed on a label positioned on the entrance of the bottle,” the CPSC recall reads.
“The 6 mL nasal spray’s packaging will not be child-resistant nor bears the required labeling assertion, posing a threat of great damage or sickness from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by younger kids,” the assertion added.

No accidents have been reported in reference to the recall.
The information comes only a day after almost 13,000 toddler towers throughout three manufacturers had been recalled after dozens of incidents and 21 accidents had been reported because of stools collapsing or tipping, based on the CPSC.
The three affected merchandise — Toetol Tower Stools, Wiifo Kids’s Tower Stools and Amzcmj DGD Kids’s Tower Stools — complete about 12,830 stools, based on notices from the Client Product Security Fee.

The recall covers about 3,000 Toetol Tower Stools, 9,700 Wiifo Kids’s Tower Stools and 130 Amzcmj DGD Kids’s Tower Stools.
“The recalled tower stools can collapse or tip over whereas in use and a baby’s torso can match by the openings on the tower’s sides, posing a threat of great damage and loss of life because of tip over, fall and entrapment hazards,” the notices learn.
For the Toetol Tower Stools, there have been 18 reviews of the stools collapsing, leading to 11 accidents, together with contusions, cuts and scrapes.

The picket kitchen tower step stools had been offered in white, grey and darkish wooden colours and measure about 20 inches deep, 15 inches large and 36 inches tall with mannequin DETD0001 printed on a label on the facet. They had been offered on-line on Amazon from October 2024 by March 2026 for about $130.
