Delta Airways CEO Ed Bastian ripped Congress for creating a “mess” as lawmakers proceed to stall on funding the Division of Homeland Safety.
In an unique sit-down with “The Claman Countdown” on Monday, Bastian pointed fingers at Congress for leaving vacationers with hours-long safety wait instances and TSA brokers unpaid for greater than a month.

Bastian’s feedback come after President Donald Trump signed an government order Friday to pay TSA brokers after they went with out pay since Feb. 14 resulting from a congressional battle over funding for the Division of Homeland Safety. TSA employees began receiving again pay Monday.

“Thank God the president enacted an emergency order to make sure the TSA employees are paid,” Bastian stated.
