An enormous fireplace broke out on Thursday evening at a Chevron jet gas manufacturing unit in California, one of many largest refineries on the U.S. west coast, following stories of an explosion.
No accidents have been reported from the incident on the El Segundo plant, Chevron mentioned on Friday, with the U.S. power main’s fireplace division personnel and emergency companies “actively responding” to the state of affairs.
It was not instantly clear what prompted the blaze.
“All refinery personnel and contractors have been accounted for and there aren’t any accidents,” Chevron mentioned in an announcement, in line with NBC.
“No evacuation orders for space residents have been put in place by emergency response businesses monitoring the incident, and no exceedances have been detected by the amenities fence line monitoring system,” the corporate added.
